Attah Iniekailanyo, President of OKYM made this known in a chat with our reporter on Thursday.

According to him, “Hon. Israel Sunny-Goli has demonstrated genuine love for us as his constituents. His entrenchment of people-oriented representation is second to none.

“Since he became our representative in the green chamber, he has attracted numerous life-changing projects and empowerment programmes to our federal constituency.”

Iniekailanyo added that the lawmaker has attracted the construction of several projects in the constituency such as the Akakuma-Ama jetty, Youth Development Center in Okpoama and Opu-Nembe, construction of Townhalls in Beletiama and Liama communities.

Other projects include installation of solar-powered street light projects in Liama and Belietiema communities, installation of a solar-motorized borehole in Okoko-Ama, installation of solar-powered street lights in Obioku, Ogbolomabiri and Bassambiri communities, construction of a block of six classrooms in Fantuo community, amongst others.

“Just recently, he gave out hundreds of motorcycles, cars and other items to deserving beneficiaries. He has also felicitated the training and empowerment of several youths in business and other entrepreneurial ventures.

“This is in addition to the number of people-oriented motions he has raised on the floor of the house,” he said.

The youth leader charged youths from the community and constituency to rally round the lawmaker in a bid to make sure he returns for a second tenure to continue his good works.
