2023 election: APC youth group inaugurates executives in Bayelsa, promises to support party

Yenagoa—A group known as the Bayelsa APC Youth Network has inaugurated its state and local government coordinators in Bayelsa State.

In a statement sent to mangrovepen.ng, the publicity secretary of the group, Comrade Raphael Biweribo Samuel, stated that the inauguration ceremony took place on Tuesday, 8 February 2022.

According to the statement, the essence of the group is to “unite the youths and galvanize support for the APC ahead of the 2023 elections.”

The group congratulated the Bayelsa State Chairman of the APC, Barr. Dennis Otiotio and his executives on their successful inauguration.

While describing Otiotio’s emergence as a new dawn for the party in the state, they urged leaders and party faithful to support the chairman and his executives to build a formidable and better APC in the state to enable the party to retrieve its mandate in 2023.

The statement commended the party’s “National Assembly members for their effective and quality representation and for setting the pace for other lawmakers.

“We urge other lawmakers to emulate the style of the APC National Assembly members.”

The Bayelsa APC Youth Network also applauded the national leadership of the APC, led by His Excellency, Mai Mala Buni, for conducting a peaceful inauguration. The group pledged to mobilize its members at the grassroots for the party.

Those inaugurated as executives of the group include Donkori Zemonovie Akio, Director General; Gurenayam Alex Amasueba, Deputy Director-General; Green Ebibose Gbenefadei, Secretary-General; Binatari Egbe and Assistant Secretary.

Others are Innocent Ebenezer Okiakpe, Mobilization Officer; Etolor Ebi Prince, Financial Secretary; Akumolatei Billy, Treasurer; Raphael Biweribo Samuel, Publicity Secretary; Ebikienmo Christopher, Women Leader and Osuma Charity, Welfare Director.

The newly inaugurated local government area coordinators include Iruo Austin, Brass; Egberike Efeleke – Ekeremor; Tobi Emmanuel W, Kolokuma/Opokuma; Olali Gift, Nembe; Osain C. Desmond, Ogbia; Perewari Benjamin, Sagbama; Etika Ezekiel, Southern Ijaw and Preye Williams Geku, Yenagoa.
