Gov. Diri is passionate about unity and prosperity of Bayelsa, says appointee

Yenagoa—Hon. Nathaniel Ngo Sylva, Technical Adviser (East) to the Bayelsa State Governor has commended Governor Douye Diri for his developmental strides since assuming office.

Sylva who made this known in a chat with our reporter appreciated Diri for the ongoing construction of the Sagbama-Ekeremor road, Southern Ijaw road project as well as the rehabilitation and construction of internal roads in the state.

“I want to appreciate Governor Douye Diri for the developmental strides being recorded by this administration.

“He has been able to match words with action by continuing with the construction of the Sagbama-Ekeremor road project, Southern Ijaw road, among other critical projects.

“I also want to thank him for the facelift he has given to the state capital by commencing the massive rehabilitation and construction of internal roads,” he said.

Sylva, a former chairman of Brass local government area, further called on Bayelsans especially the people of Bayelsa East senatorial district to continue supporting the policies and programmes of the prosperity administration.

According to him, “the governor has pledged to commence the construction of the all-important Nembe-Brass road next year and by the grace of God, I know he will fulfill his promise.”

He stressed that Diri is a good patriot who is passionate about the unity and prosperity of the entire state, hence called on all Bayelsans to give him the needed support to realize his good vision for the state.

“I want to admonish Bayelsans especially the good people of Bayelsa East to continue supporting the people-oriented programmes and policies of the prosperity administration because it is only when we support a government that it works effectively,” Sylva said.
