Brass—A councillor from Brass Local Government Area, Hon. Orlu Ikiomoye Edwin, has passed a vote of confidence in the council chairman, Hon. Victor Isaiah over what he described as the judicious implementation of the 2020 Budget.
In a statement made shortly after plenary at the council’s legislative complex, the lawmaker maintained that the council boss had fully implemented 90% of the council’s 2020 budget.
He appreciated Isaiah for initiating and completing the Egweama-Liama link road, Twon-Brass market, and the Ewoama town hall.
According to Edwin, “the projects will contribute to the infrastructural development of the people.”
Edwin, who is the chief whip of the 6th Brass Legislative Assembly, further thanked Isaiah for “delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of the area, by fulfilling his campaign promises.”
He eulogised the council boss for his exemplary leadership style which, according to him, has “brought peace and development to the local government area.”
In the same vein, the lawmaker thanked Governor Douye Diri and his deputy, Senator Lawrence Ehwurujakpo for “sanitizing the local government system in the state, to enable the chairmen to execute meaningful projects.”
The councillor equally commended the people of Brass LGA for their peaceful disposition. He expressed confidence that the Brass council boss will do more.
