Barr. George Turnah (MON) factional leader of the Bayelsa State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has called on Christians across the nation to remain steadfast in praying for Nigeria and its leaders at all levels.
Turnah made the appeal during the maiden harvest thanksgiving service of the Salvation City Royal Church, held in Elebele Town, Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
In his goodwill message, Turnah emphasized the need for wisdom and compassionate leadership, noting that no leader can succeed without God’s help.
Turnah who was represented by the state acting treasurer of the party, Biobelemoye Igoniwari, encouraged Nigerians to support governments constructively and continue to uphold the nation in prayer, stressing that God remains the ultimate ruler over the affairs of men.
He stated that serving God and contributing to the advancement of His work is one of the greatest responsibilities of every believer.
He further commended the leadership and members of the Salvation City Royal Church for their dedication.
The event witnessed a spirit-filled atmosphere of worship, gratitude, and communal celebration, drawing attendees from within and beyond the local government area.
