“Engr. Aganaba brings to the table a rich blend of technical expertise, administrative discipline, and a longstanding passion for human capital development, while Hon. Marcus Eji stands out for his grassroots connection, legislative acumen, and a commitment to people-driven projects.

“These appointments are a resounding vote of confidence in the capabilities of Bayelsa and Rivers’ sons who have paid their dues in public service.

“President Tinubu has once again demonstrated that his administration is focused on results, inclusion, and equitable representation. We commend this move and celebrate the opportunity it presents for sustainable impact in our region.”

The Bayelsa politician however urged the both appointees to remain focused, people-oriented, and transparent in the discharge of their duties.

He called on “stakeholders across the South-South, especially in Bayelsa and Rivers, to close ranks, set aside partisanship, and support the SSDC team to succeed in their shared mission.

“This is not just an appointment; it is a call to destiny. The SSDC is a lifeline for our region’s future, and with competent leadership, we can begin to witness the transformation our people have long yearned for.”
