Ex-Big Brother Naija (BBN) Star, Rebecca Nengi Hampson has denied rumors of being pregnant for “any governor.”
Speculations have been making the rounds on social media where it has been alleged that the reality star has taken in for a Nigerian Governor.
Nengi however in a series of tweets on X on Monday, while addressing the rumours, described the speculations as lies.
She added that she has chosen to speak up because the stories are not just an attack on her, but also involves people she holds in high esteem.
She wrote, “As much as I believe social media lies aren’t worth my time, I’ve come to accept that we live in a world where people are quick to spread lies without limits so let me be clear, I’m not pregnant for any Governor.
“I’ve chosen to speak coz this isn’t just an attack on me, it involves people I hold in the highest regard, and I won’t allow a beautiful, personal part of my life be turned into something ugly.
“While I continue to mind my own business and enjoy my pregnancy in PEACE, I wish y’all Love and a happy Valentine’s weekend.”
Nengi was appointed Senior Special Assistant to the Bayelsa State Governor on the girl child, and also unveiled as the new face of Bayelsa state in November 2020 by Governor Diri following her participation in the Big Brother Naija BBN reality show.
