The 7th edition of the Bayelsa Governor’s Football Tournament popularly known as Prosperity Cup has been scheduled to hold on February 2025
This year’s edition will include three categories namely; male category, female category and the para soccer category.
The winners of the male category will be awarded N10 million, the first runner-up will be given N5million, third placed team will go home with N2.5millon, 4th place team will be given a sum of N1.5million and there is also a consolation prize of N1million for participating teams.
Whereas the eventual champions of the female category will be given a winner’s prize of N5 million, the first runner-up will be compensated with the sum of N2.5million, the third place team will be rewarded with N1.5millon, fourth place team, N500,000 and a consolation prize of N500,000.
The winners of the para soccer category will go home with N3million.
REGISTRATION
Sale of registration forms starts from January 6th while closing date for collection of forms will be on February 6th.
For registration, male teams are to pay N25,000 and female teams to pay N15,000.
