Dear Chief,
When I took my pen to write you this letter, I was mindful of the plethora of reactions that will follow its submission.
As a critical stakeholder and one who is very particular about the total success of the Presidential Amnesty Program, I have been following the developments at every turn. You have in the last few months mounted the driver’s seat of the leadership of the Presidential Amnesty Program, showing an uncommon passion in changing the story. You have exhibited a higher distinctive level of commitment and absolute sense of responsibility to your people.
Your culture and practice of continuous consultations with your people from all cadres expose your unflinching determination to succeed and leave an indelible legacy in the sands of time.
Most recently, you have laid yet another record with a massive and highly selective deployment of over one thousand five hundred delegates to various institutions within the country. This singular act, which is a marked departure from your immediate predecessors, is a clear undeniable testimony to your scale of preference; putting the educational well-being of our people above every consideration.
On behalf of the creek people, the concerned select and the aborigines of the ijaw Nation, kindly accept my profound commendations for such calculated and strategic actions cum policies.
Be assured of our support at all times while I urge you to remain in this pride of place.
In conclusion, let me use this medium to appeal to your conscience to give a special premium to people who have lost fathers and loved ones in the course of our collective agitation for better space and well-being. I’m aware that there abound such people who lost limbs, eyes, legs and are now incapacitated arising from this same course. I urge you to consider them as special people that require our total support. They represent the unending scars that remind us that Amnesty was not gotten on a platter of gold but achieved with blood, pains and deaths.
I am persuaded to know that given your pedigree you will find this request most strategic and will treat it with utmost urgency. I look forward to more massive deployment in both foreign schools while creating a new framework that will be all embracing as witnessed in your inclusion of more women into our ranks.
Once again, accept my commendations.
I remain,
A faithful and believer in our sacred course.
Regards,
Barr Jeremiah Perekeme Owoupele
