Dr. Emeka Rollas, President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), has appointed Bayelsa-born movie maker and actor, Timipre Sylva Azikiwe, as his Senior Special Adviser on Niger Delta Affairs and Liaison Officer of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
Rollas, along with former AGN President Zack Orji, handed the appointment letter to Timipre in Abuja.
According to him, Timipre’s duties as Senior Special Adviser include but not limited to providing strategic and developmental advice to the national president on how to develop the Guild in the Niger Delta region.
Timipre was also tasked to provide work processes, initiate projects, ideas and workable solutions to the growth and development of AGN in the Niger Delta region.
“This appointment is in recognition of your professional achievements, wisdom and vast experience in the industry to help contribute to the growth and development of our noble Guild.
“Therefore, it is my unalloyed conviction that you will discharge your duties in line with the constitution of the Actors Guild of Nigeria and help to build a virile Guild for all,” he said.
