Prominent Nigerian monarch, HRH Samuel Sambo, has felicitated the Bulgarian Ambassador to Nigeria, Yanko V. Yordanov, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a statement sent to Mangrovepen.ng on Sunday evening, the monarch described Yordanov as a quintessential diplomat, intentional leader and reliable friend that he is proud to be associated with.
The traditional ruler, who is the Chairman of the Sambo Foundation, lauded Yordanov for working tirelessly to consolidate the Bulgaria-Nigeria bilateral relations and demonstrating uncommon leadership qualities that endear him to others.
In the words of the monarch: “Ambassador Yordanov’s efforts in solidifying the relationship between the two vastly blessed countries are yielding fruits especially in the area of trade and investments, migration, education, agriculture, as well as health and social development, inter alia.
“He is the type of diplomat who brings glory to his home country. Not only is Ambassador Yordanov representing Bulgaria well, he is also greatly loved in Nigeria where he works because of his leadership qualities and firm dedication to our development,” Sambo stated.
He also thanked the Ambassador for supporting the Sambo Foundation in its quest to encourage underprivileged students from the Niger Delta region.
“While I wish my friend and brother, Yordanov, a prosperous life ahead, I look forward to more collaborations that will be beneficial to our people and the people of Bulgaria,” he said.
