May Enai Ogbia continually inspire you as you transform N’Delta, OBYC hails Ogbuku @49

The Ogbia Brotherhood Youth Council (OBYC) has sent warm felicitations to the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, on the occasion of his 49th birthday.

OBYC which is the umbrella body of all youths of Ogbia Kingdom in Bayelsa State, made the felicitation in a press statement signed by its President, Comr. Johnny S. Jonathan, and Secretary, Comr. Nitabhai Robert.

“Today, we heartily celebrate one of our own, Chief (Dr) Samuel Ogbuku, as he clocks 49.

“We are very proud to be associated with such a vibrant, humble, solution-driven and intentional leader who is rapidly transforming the Niger Delta region that has long suffered underdevelopment, exploitation and environmental degradation,” the statement noted.

The youth body while further describing Ogbuku as a bridge-builder, commended him for demonstrating inclusivity in managing the NDDC.

The youths stated: “We also use this medium to appreciate Chief Ogbuku for initiating far-reaching projects and programmes not just in Ogbia Kingdom and Bayelsa State but across the nooks and crannies of the oil-rich region.

“The fact that the NDDC Managing Director is carrying both the stakeholders and masses of the region along in the scheme of things is admirable.”

The statement wished Ogbuku constant health and more ideas to diligently lead the NDDC.

“May the ever-gracious, potent Enai Ogbia continue to protect and inspire Chief Ogbuku as he continues to oversee the affairs of the NDDC,” the statement concluded.
