Otuaro visits N’Delta scholars in UK, urges them to be good ambassadors

Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Dr. Dennis Otuaro, on Sunday, met with PAP diaspora students currently pursuing their studies in the United Kingdom.

Otuaro who stressed the importance of academic excellence, tasked the scholars to take their studies seriously and become good ambassadors of the oil-rich Niger Delta region.

The PAP boss also advised them to make Nigeria proud by harnessing their full potential and contributing positively to Nigeria’s growth and development.

He charged the students to remain peaceful and law-abiding in their foreign environment.

Doing so, Otuaro notes, will help them to avoid creating the wrong impression about the people of Niger Delta and Nigeria at large.

The students, at the meeting, profusely thanked Otuaro for his commitment to their scholarship, welfare, as well as dedication to their academic pursuits.

Mangrovepen gathered that the meeting served as a morale booster for the students and that it also reinforces Otuaro’s support for their educational pursuits, commitment towards making the PAP more robust and encompassing.
