Youths from Okpoama Kingdom in Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa State are inviting the general public to a 4-day programme scheduled to hold between 12th—17th of August, 2024.
The programme is to commemorate this year’s International Youth Day tagged “From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development.”
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the President of the Okpoama Kingdom Youth Movement (OKYM), Engr. Seiyefa Ben-Basuo, Secretary, Alabinte Alamangigha and Chairman of the organizing committee, Ofrey Ebierinyo.
The youths are also soliciting financial assistance from well-meaning individuals, private organizations and government to “create a memorable and impactful youth day.”
OKYM hinted that the 4-day programme with the theme “Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development” will feature gyration club display, football match, sensitization workshop on drug abuse, voice of unity display, health talks, award presentation, thanksgiving service, amongst others.
