Euro 2024 final: Music executive, Soso Soberekon loses $10,000 bet to Zlatan

Nigerian music executive, Soso Soberekon, has lost a $10,000 bet to singer, Zlatan Ibile, after Spain beat England in the UEFA Euro 2024 final on Sunday night.

Daily Post reports that Soberekon and Zlatan were captured betting $10,000 each in favour of England and Spain, respectively, in a video earlier shared on the singer’s Instagram.

But it was Zlatan who won the bet as Spain defeated England 2-1 to win a record fourth UEFA Euro title.

Nico Williams, the fast pay winger, put Spain in front two minutes into the second half.

Substitute Cole Palmer equalised for England in the 73rd minute, but an 86th-minute goal from Mikel Oyarzabal gave Spain a deserved victory.

Following the outcome of the game, Soberekon took to his Instagram story to share a crying emoji.
