Shidi-led Brass APC Caucus hails Sylva at 60, describes him as an impactful enigma


Chairman of Brass Local Government Caucus of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State, HRH Otonye Efebo-Shidi, has congratulated the former minister of petroleum (state), Chief Timipre Sylva, in commemoration of his 60th birthday anniversary.

Shidi, in a statement made available to Mangrovepen.ng on Sunday, described Sylva as an enigmatic and charismatic leader who has touched many lives and written his name in the annals of history.

“We join family, friends, business and political associates, and millions of other well-wishers in celebrating our dear political leader and former Governor of Bayelsa State, Chief Timipre Sylva, as he marks his Diamond Jubilee.

“It gives us great pleasure to felicitate a charismatic, enigmatic leader like His Excellency who has impacted so many lives in and outside Bayelsa, thereby writing his name on the pages of history.

“His impact is so huge that nobody in the Bayelsa political class can gainsay the fact that Sylva has affected them positively at one point in time. He has also been a reliable friend to the common man, with his humble and humane lifestyle.

“Sylva was born great and he has remained great; thanks to the grace of God upon his life and the resilient spirit that keeps propelling him to attain greater heights,” said Shidi who is also the Amadabo of Shidi-Ama in Twon Brass Kingdom.

According to the Brass APC Caucus chairman, Sylva remains one of the foremost leaders in the oil-rich Niger Delta region as well as one of the most brilliant and impactful Nigerians alive.

The statement therefore thanked God for preserving the ex-minister as he clocks 60 and wished him many more years in health.

“On behalf of all APC members in Brass LGA, I wish His Excellency more fruitful years and pray for God’s continued protection and inspiration to touch more lives on earth,” the statement concluded.
