Members of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), Monday, held a peaceful demonstration on the Rivers State axis of the East-West Road.
The youths led by IYC President, Sir Jonathan Lokpobiri Snr, demanded for the swift completion of the road project they described as “economically important to the Niger Delta region.”
According to Dailyreport.ng, the youths urged the Federal Government to prioritize the completion of the road as soon as possible.
This will stop the total grounding of the busy road in no distant time, they said.
