The minister of State for Petroleum Resources (oil), Senator Heineken Lokpobiri has rejoiced with President Bola Tinubu, his vice, Senator Kashim Shettima and other Muslim faithful in the country as they celebrate this year’s Eid Mubarak.
The minister in a felicitation message shared on his official X account on Tuesday enjoined Muslims to be compassionate and share with those in need in the spirit of Eid el-Kabir.
He further prayed for God’s blessings associated with the season for all Nigerians.
He said, “As we celebrate Eid el-Kabir, I join President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, and the Muslim community in Nigeria and the world over in marking this joyous occasion.
“A time of sacrifice and devotion, Eid el-Kabir reminds us of the importance of faith, compassion and sharing with those in need.
“I pray that God grants us the many benefits and virtues associated with this holy day.
“May His continued blessings be upon us all, enabling us to persevere in our endeavors, particularly as we strive for sustainable development and increased crude production for national prosperity.
“Eid Mubarak!”
