The Enibo Albert Charity Foundation, a leading charity organization based in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, has announced the successful execution of its Project Smart Seed programme.
Mangrovepen.ng gathered that the programme was dedicated to provide access to quality education for children in remote communities across the Niger Delta.
This was disclosed by the foundation via a statement on Thursday.
According to the statement, the programme is a two-pronged approach to address educational disparities in the Niger Delta which equips children in need with essential school supplies, backpacks, shoes, uniforms, textbooks, notebooks, and stationery.
It also seeks to collaborate with local communities, schools, and parents to identify and re-enroll out-of-school children to the classroom.
The foundation thanked all donors to the cause of the organization which it said has improved the lives of many children.
The statement also noted that the foundation has a vision to re-enroll a minimum of 10,000 out-of-school children in the Niger Delta in the next five years.

“Thanks to the generosity of donors, Project Smart Seed has significantly improved the lives of numerous children. Eleven children are now enrolled in the program and receiving the necessary supplies to excel in school.
“This has resulted in an improved class attendance and a renewed passion for learning. The positive impact transcends individual students, as two communities, six families, and three schools have been reached.
“The transformative power of Project Smart Seed is exemplified by the stories of several children
“Bishop Ankrah, a brilliant student forced to leave school due to financial limitations, is back in the classroom and thriving academically with Project Smart Seed’s support.
“The Fisi Brothers, orphaned and facing challenges with their ailing uncle, can now focus on their education thanks to the project ensuring their educational needs are met.
“Samuel Krilah, a talented young boy who previously attended school with minimal supplies, is flourishing academically with the support of Project Smart Seed.
“Miracle Unity, a young man who lost his mother, has found hope and the opportunity to pursue his education through the initiative.
“Project Smart Seed, pioneered by the Enibo Albert Charity Foundation has a robust future. The vision includes re-enrolling a minimum of 10,000 out-of-school children in the Niger Delta in the next five years.
“Needs assessments will be conducted to ascertain areas with the greatest need, ensuring resources are equitably distributed to remote communities.
“Project Smart Seed remains committed to providing essential learning materials and raising awareness on the importance of education.”
The Foundation further called on the public to support the project through donations, advocacy, publicity or volunteering.
