Bulgarian Ambassador partners Sambo foundation, awards scholarship to NDU students

The Bulgarian Ambassador to Nigeria, Yanko Yordanov, has awarded scholarships to two students through the Sambo Foundation.

This is coming days after the meeting between Mr. Yanko Yordanov and the President of the Sambo foundation, HRH Samuel Sambo at the Bulgarian Embassy in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

The two beneficiaries, Inatimi Hephzibah Delight and Ebiegberi Fagrihoun, are both students of the Niger Delta University which is located in Bayelsa State.

Our reporter gathered that each of the students will be given a significant amount of money for their tuition and other academic fees as well as a monthly stipend for upkeep.

Reacting to the development, HRH, Samuel Sambo commended the gesture by the Bulgarian Government.

He expressed gratitude to Ambassador Yordanov for his willingness to support education in the Niger Delta region.

The philanthropic ruler added that the gesture will spur him as well as the foundation to do more in helping indigent students in actualizing their educational dreams.
