The Ijaw National Congress (INC) Central Zone has felicitated Governor Douye Diri and his Deputy, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo on their recent swearing-in for a second term in office.
According to the apex Ijaw social-cultural group, Diri’s re-election not only signifies a personal triumph but also a resounding victory and a vote of confidence from Bayelsans in his ability to lead, inspire and effect positive change in the state.

According to the INC, Diri’s dedication to service and unwavering commitment to the progress and prosperity of Bayelsa, earned him a well-deserved second term.
“The Ijaw National Congress (INC) Central Zone, recognises the significance of this moment, for Bayelsa State and the entire Ijaw Nation.
“On behalf of the leadership of INC Central Zone, we extend our warmest congratulations to you and your team for your exemplary leadership that you continue to inspire,” the statement partly reads.
The INC prayed that his second term would bring more success, fulfillment and greater progress as he strives to deliver the dividend of democracy to Bayelsans.
