The Coordinator of the Bayelsa State Volunteers, Chief Oyinkuro Lucky Asanakpo has congratulated Governor Douye Diri and his Deputy, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo for their successful second-term inauguration.
In a statement by his media aide, Dimie Peres Jonah, Asanakpo stated that he is very optimistic that “Bayelsans are in for the best of times as Diri and his deputy will deliver the dividends of democracy to consolidate the achievements of their first term.”
Asanakpo who advised Bayelsans to rally around the government to ensure its success also called for support to enable it to fulfill its campaign promises.
He assured the governor and citizens that the agency would reinforce its surveillance of the entire landscape of the state to ensure that miscreants and criminals are flushed out.
While assuring that the agency will make the state conducive for tourism and foreign investment, the volunteer boss warned youths involved in drug abuse and drug trafficking to desist “otherwise the unfailing hand of the law will grab sooner than later.”
