Youth groups hail Bayelsa NDDC rep Dimaro for equitable distribution of Christmas packages

Yenagoa—Several youth groups across Bayelsa State have hailed the Bayelsa State representative of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Elder (Senator) Denyanbofa Dimaro for distributing Christmas packages to youths in the state during the festive season.

The President Nembe-Bassambiri Multipurpose Co-operative Society Limited, Raymond Wilfred, commended the NDDC state representative for the gesture.

He delightfully applauded Senator Dimaro and his team for reaching out to them.

He said it was a very timely and judicious use of resources to reach out to youths in the state during the festive period.

Similarly, President of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) worldwide, Sir Jonathan Lokpobiri was said to have lauded Senator Dimaro for accommodating several youths within the group for the package.

Also, the leader of the Niger Delta Reform Group, General Christopher Apolloss, thanked the Bayelsa NDDC representative for “sending the NDDC Christmas package to youths within his rank.”

Apollos added that his people are overwhelmed by Dimaro’s benevolence, insisting that not everyone saddled with such a mandate will be able to reach out to youths in the manner he did.

The leader of the Izon Bolodi Ogbo group, Woyinekuro Zidougha, on his part, appreciated the representative for his show of love and kind gesture

He added that “indeed with Elder Dimaro representing us, Bayelsans across the board will continue to enjoy the several far-reaching programmes and projects initiated by the Dr. Samuel Ogbuku-led NDCC.”

Zidougha noted that the gesture is helpful to the beneficiaries, especially at a time when many are struggling to make ends meet.

Similarly, the Niger Delta Peace and Development Advocate (NDPDA) led by its leader, Comr. Kelvin Ebi Thomas lauded Senator Dimaro for the equitable distribution of the NDDC Christmas packages.

The advocacy group added that the move is a welcome development as it is a show of honesty and transparency.

Also appreciative of Dimaro’s sterling distribution is the Ijaw Liberation Mass Movement led by its President, Raphael Tei Wei, describing the NDDC state representative “as an elder statesman worthy of emulation.”

“Senator Dimaro has by the singular act shown that he is truly a father who means well for Bayelsa youths,” the group maintained.

Mangrovepen.ng gathered that the Christmas package is distributed yearly to various youth groups in the Niger Delta region in the spirit of the yuletide.
