Port Harcourt—The South South Integrity Group for Good Governance has hailed the Rivers State representative in the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Chief Tony Okocha, for his good works and benevolence, particularly during the festive season.

The group said Okocha’s good works have been exemplary, noting that the NDDC rep has been doing wonderfully well in reaching out to the masses in the Yuletide.

This was contained in a statement signed by the coordinator of the group, Comr. Alex Alabo Nathan and made available to newsmen on Friday.

While describing Okocha as a man of high integrity, compassion and a cheerful giver, the group urged him to continue his kind gestures in the benevolent manner he has been going about.

“We thank Chief Tony Okocha for what he is doing particularly in the festive season. With his acts of kindness he has shown that he is a good and benevolent man, the group partly said in the statement.

The group further urged other state representatives to emulate Okocha and thanked the NDDC boss, Chief Samuel Ogbuku for his sterling leadership that has made others also contribute meaningfully to the people of the region

The group equally felicitated the NDDC board and all state representatives of the commission in the spirit of the festive season and wished them a prosperous 2024.
