Diri will train Bayelsa youths on AI to meet global tech demands—Donkemezuo tells voters

Kolokuma/Opokuma—Engr. Elvis Donkemezuo, Technical Adviser on Business Development to the Bayelsa State Governor (Lagos), has said that Senator Douye Diri if elected has plans to train Bayelsans on tech-related jobs in Artificial Intelligence (AI) to meet growing global demand on Bluechip.

The aide stated this during the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) campaign tour in Opokuma in Kolokuma/ Opokuma Constituency II ahead of the November 11 poll.

He said Governor Diri also has plans to award scholarships to most postgraduate students in the state.

He said there are also plans to ensure that all civil servants in the state own a building by constructing over 2,000 mass houses in the duration of his second tenure, he added.

In the words of Donkemezuo: The governor has said that in his second term, he will build a road from Igbedi that will link Wilberforce Island.

“The governor has also said that he will train over 200 youths on Artificial Intelligence (AI). You can sit in your home and work in America and earn in dollars.

“The governor told me in confidence that a lot of postgraduate students will be sponsored on scholarship.

“The governor has also told me that he will build over 2,000 mass houses in the next four years and that all civil servants will own a house and he’ll guarantee it.”

“The governor has so many plans for us.”

He urged the campaign crowd by saying “this time around, you need to know that we’re not going to lose the battle in our house because this is our fight. Hence, we must deliver Douye Diri and his hard-working deputy 100% at the poll.
