Tonye Bobo to lead 3rd Phase ex-agitators for another tenure, harps on unity, wants support for Ndiomu

Yenagoa—The Chairman of the Third Phase Forum of ex-agitators of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, ‘General’ Tonye Bobo has been elected for a second term as the substantive National Chairman of the Forum.

The election which was held on Thursday, 14th September 2023 at Ughelli, Delta State saw Bobo polling a total number of 70 votes beating his closest rival, Bulutorou who garnered 16 votes, and Akarume Enumuba who came third with 14 votes.

The election also saw the emergence of Birinumugham Jesse from Delta State as the Vice National Chairman unopposed.

Other members of the newly elected exco include: Ivwromon Ebi Ogaga from Delta State, National Secretary; Timi
Francis from Ondo State, National Assistant Secretary; Kenneth Fabby from Bayelsa State, Publicity Secretary;
Randy Andakuro, Director of Mobilization; Joseph Okor from Delta State, Provost; Luke Luke from Edo State, Treasurer and
Victor Boubai from Bayelsa, Organizing Secretary.

Others are Bawo Edema, Legal Adviser, Delta; Fred Ockiya, National Adviser 1, Rivers; Egirigi Kidi,
Adviser 3; Agas Odiri Kingsley, Adviser 2; Emmanuel Idogho, Protocol Officer; ljiye Kelvin, Chief Security Officer (CSO) and Bunu Cynthia, Women

Bobo in his inaugural speech after the election thanked the General Assembly of the ex-agitators forum, for the confidence reposed in him and for finding him worthy to be massively elected to retain his position.

He urged all members of the forum to maintain peace, unity, and oneness of purpose, adding that it is the only way they can move the PAP Phase 3 body forward.

He also commended the laudable efforts of General Barry Ndiomu, the Interim Administrator of PAP who he said has done so much to meet the needs of the ex-agitators.

He emphasized the massive support of the cooperative arrangement introduced by Ndiomu, saying “it is a project graciously put in place by the Interim Administrator to better the life of all the ex-agitators.”

The ex-agitator leader further urged members of the third Phase forum to give their total support to the PAP boss to do more for them.

Bobo equally called on President Bola Tinubu
and other agencies of government to give all the necessary support to Ndiomu to record more
success at PAP, adding that Ndiomu has done very well since he became the head of the programme.
