Integrity Group rallies support for Ogbuku-led NDDC management team

Yenagoa—The South-South Integrity Group for Good Governance has called on the people of the Niger Delta to support Dr. Samuel Ogbuku-led management team of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) in the wake of their appointment by President Bola Tinubu.

This, the group said, is necessary to spawn the needed peace and development in the region.

The South-South Integrity Group made the call in a statement signed by the group’s president, Comrade Alex Alabo Nathan on Wednesday and made available to Mangrovepen.ng.

Alex, while congratulating members of the management team, also thanked President Bola Tinubu for finding them worthy of the critical role of steering the interventionist commission to fulfill its mandate of developing the Niger Delta.

He lauded Ogbuku for his leadership qualities and noted that under his watch the NDDC has assumed a new outlook of transparency and purpose.

The statement however urged Ogbuku and members of the management team to be upright in their management of the affairs of the commission, insisting that the region’s development in both the short and long term partly depends on the manner they run the NDDC.
