Abuja—A youth leader from Aleibiri in Ekeremor Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, Engr. Martins Daubry has congratulated Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri on his appointment as Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil).

In a statement made available to Mangrovepen.ng on Friday, the youth leader lauded Lokpobiri for his commitment to the service of Nigeria as well as the Ijaw Nation.

Daubry who is also a Fellow of the Legislative Mentorship Initiative established by the former Speaker of the House of Representatives now Chief of Staff to the President, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila hailed Lokpobiri’s appointment and expressed confidence that he will do very well on his new national assignment.

He extolled President Tinubu for giving Lokpobiri such a critical role to play in his administration, averring that the minister has the capacity, competency and character to take the oil industry into an enviable height.

“President Tinubu by the appointment has demonstrated a unique ability to assemble great and capable minds as ministers to drive the country forward,” he added.

Daubry said Lokpobiri’s appointment should be a thing of joy to Bayelsans and Ijaws in general given the fact that their kinsman has been saddled with such a huge responsibility.

According to him, “Lokpobiri will justify the confidence reposed in him by the President, considering his sterling track record as an experienced public servant.
