Yenagoa—A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, Hon. Iyenimi Sling has said Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri’s ministerial nomination by President Bola Tinubu did not come as a surprise to him.
“This is because Lokpobiri is a go-getter and very hard-working,” says Sling in a congratulatory message made available to Mangrovepen. ng on Thursday.
While stating that Lokpobiri’s nomination was well-deserved and a good omen for Bayelsa APC, Sling also thanked President Tinubu for the appointment.
The APC chieftain maintained that, as a former senator and ex-minister, he does not doubt that Lokpobiri will excellently undertake his ministerial task when confirmed by the senate and make the country proud.
He further prayed for God to grant Lokpobiri wisdom, strength and all that is needed to carry out his new national assignment.
