Yenagoa—A non-governmental organization, Peace and Rural Development Advocates (PRDA), Bayelsa State Chapter, has felicitated the state commissioner for water resources, Hon. Kemebradikumo Wariebi on the occasion of his birthday.
This was contained in a goodwill message signed by its spokesman, Engr. Peretimi Johnbull and obtained by Mangrovepen.ng.
The group’s spokesman described Wariebi as a “humble politician, peace-builder and development expert” who has so far made a huge impact in the lives of Bayelsans through his dedicated service to the state as commissioner.
“On a day like this, we wish to congratulate the Honourable Commissioner for Water Resources, Mr. Kemebradikumo Wariebi and heartily commend him for the sterling way and manner he has been carrying out his duties.
“Today, several communities across the state have benefitted from the solar-powered water supply scheme which the Bayelsa State government is successfully executing in partnership with the federal government and UNESCO, due to the commissioner’s proactiveness,” he stated.
John Bull who said that “Wariebi is a round peg in a round hole that is providing water facilities to Bayelsa rural dwellers” thanked the state Governor, Senator Douye Diri, for reposing confidence in Wariebi by appointing him to occupy a sensitive ministry.
The PRDA spokesman urged the Bayelsa water resources commissioner to continue leading the water resources ministry with diligence, humility and the fear of God, adding that he will get the reward for his diligent service in due season.
“Our prayer is for God to keep strengthening the Commissioner and grant him long life and prosperity as he performs his state functions,” the statement concluded.
