George Turnah declines appointment into Gabriel Ogbara’s campaign council, pledges support

Yenagoa—The Executive Assistant to Governor Douye Diri on Public Affairs and Social Orientation Mr. Alabh George Turnah (MON) has declined his appointment as a member of the Elders Advisory Council of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Ogbia Constituency III, Hon. Gabriel Ogbara Campaign Organization for personal reasons.

In a statement by his Media Assistant, Kelvin Loveday Egbo, Turnah assured of his readiness and commitment to work for the victory of Ogbara in the forth coming elections into the Bayelsa State House of Assembly.

He expressed gratitude to the people of Ogbia Constituency III for their solidarity and support for the PDP and her candidates in the just concluded Presidential and National Assembly elections which saw the Party’s candidates emerge victorious.

Turnah while commending Diri for leading the party to victory in the just concluded National Assembly elections, congratulated His Excellency Sen. Henry Seriake Dickson, Chief Sunday Agadaga and Rt. Hon. Konbowei Friday Benson for emerging victorious.

He also congratulated Hon. Chief Mitema Obordor, Hon. Oforji Oboku, Mrs. Mari Ebikake and Hon. Rodney Ambaowei.
