Nigerians will need 2-week public holiday to recover after President Buhari—LP spokesperson

Abuja—One of the spokespersons for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Ndi Kato has said that Nigerians would need at least two weeks public holiday to recover from the President Muhammadu Buhari led-All Progressives Congress (APC) government when his tenure might have ended.

Daily Post Nigeria reports that the statement was contained in a post via her Twitter handle on Saturday.

Recall that the country has been besieged with crisis following the redesigning of the Naira notes by the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN.

This is in addition to the recurring fuel scarcity across the country, which has seen fuel pump price go up to N500 in some States.

However, Kato has come out to lament that Nigerians have suffered much under this dispensation.

She wrote, “When Buhari steps down from power, we need at least a 2-week public holiday so that we can recuperate.

“Nigerians, we have really suffered.”
