Diri’s aide lauds Bayelsa businessman for visit, donation of food items to flood victims

Yenagoa—The Senior Special Assistant on Youth Mobilisation to the Governor of Bayelsa State, Robert Igali (JP) has lauded Dr. Eruani Azibapu Godbless (CFR)—the President of Azikel Group for his condolence visit to Bayelsa state and subsequent donation of N350millon worth of food items to flood victims.

Igali in a statement sent to mangrovepen.ng on Tuesday while commending the gesture noted that the businessman was the first prominent Bayelsan to support and commiserate with the state on account of the flood disaster.

The governor’s aide described Azibapu Godbless as an eminent Bayelsan who he said cares for the wellbeing of the people of the state, especially in this difficult times.

He said, “I will love to mention that, Dr.Eruani Azibapu Godbless (CFR) The President Azikel Group is the first Bayelsan who have come to visit the state and make tremendous support to the state Government in his capacity since the beginning of this Natural Disastrous Attack called Flood in Bayelsa.

“Thus deserves the commendation of all well-meaning  Bayelsans. You will agree with me that some days ago I made a loud call via all media platforms and radio stations to all well-meaning Bayelsans who are in Business and Politics that are well to do to render a hand of Support to the Government of Bayelsa State in the sense of providing reasonable succour to the Flood Situation in the State.”

Igali further called on other well-meaning individuals, businessmen, and political leaders from the state to support the state government in its effort to ameliorate the impact of the flood disaster.
