You are an icon, Okpoama kingdom engineering foundation celebrates Wabote on national excellence award

Okpoama—The Okpoama Kingdom Engineering Professionals Foundation, (OKEPF) has congratulated its Grand Patron and Executive Secretary of NCDMB, Engr. Kesiye Simbi Wabote on the conferment of National Excellence Awards in Public Service (NEAPS) by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The foundation in a statement signed by its president, Engr. Irigha Charles Okalai, MNSE on Friday lauded Wabote for his efforts to develop the Okpoama Kingdom, adding that his excellent performance as NCDMB boss has earned him admiration from many people.

The statement further prayed for more achievement for Wabote as he gets more national recognition.

The statement reads in full:

“It is with a cheerful heart that we congratulate our engineering icon and patriotic son of the ancient Okpoama Kingdom, Engr. Kesiye Simbi Wabote (FNSE) on the recent national recognition.

“We are proud to have you as our Grand Patron. Your leadership has always pointed the younger generation on the right path in careers.

“Your age-long efforts to improve the land and people of Okpoama Kingdom are evident. Your excellent performance as Executive Secretary of NCDMB can never be gainsaid. Hence the great love and admiration you enjoy from far and near.

“Expectedly, your transformational leadership has been confirmed via today’s national honour of “Excellence in Public Service” by President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government of Nigeria.

“This comes with joy in our hearts and we pray that the Almighty God will even take you higher in your life and help us to meet up with you as you set giant targets or goals for us to strive to beat.

“With love in our hearts, we say a big congratulations to you on this award.”

Mangrovepen.ng gathered that the national excellence awards were conferred on Wabote and other recipients at the State House Conference Center, Abuja.

Wabote received the award for capacity development, in recognition of the human and infrastructural capability development initiatives he has accomplished in the NCDMB since his appointment in 2016.
