I would make infrastructural devt my priority if elected, says Accord Party candidate in Bayelsa

Nembe—The Accord Party (AP) candidate for the Nembe constituency III seat in next year’s Bayelsa State House Assembly elections, Hon. Francis Biobarakuma has promised to mount strategic infrastructural projects in the constituency if elected into office.

Biobarakuma who is the youngest candidate running for the seat made the promise in a Facebook post on Saturday.

He said he would make infrastructural development of the constituency his top priority given that his people lack basic amenities like good inroads, health facilities, and link bridges that connect various communities in the constituency.

Biobarakuma also said he would make quality education accessible to his constituents, stressing that everyone deserves quality education because education is key to sustainable development.

It was gathered that communities in Nembe Constituency III are difficult to access, so there is a need to construct roads and bridges.

The communities in the constituency also lack access to good drinkable water, good health facilities and power supply.

Biobarakuma, while speaking to our reporter, said he will provide these amenities if elected into the state assembly.
