Sagbama—Wife of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Sagbama/Ekeremor Federal Constituency seat Dr. Oyintonyo Michael Olomu has said her husband Hon. Michael Olomu is the most qualified to represent constituents ahead of next year’s election.

Oyintonyo who is a lecturer at the Federal University Otuoke in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa state told newsmen in Yenagoa said Olomu is a refined, young and pragmatic leader who is best suited for the role.

Hon. Michael Olomu

“He has managed human and material resources of the family and positions of trust as Senior Special Assistant to different Governors in the State as well as Special Adviser to different Chief Executive Officers/ Managing Directors including the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC),” she said.

She stated that her marriage of over 13 years to Olomu is an eye opener to the kind of compassionate man her husband is, the only man, she said, the people of Sagbama/Ekeremor constituency deserve to represent them in the National Assembly.

Mr&Mrs Olomu

“He has shown capacity, and compassion at the home front and displayed capability as a mentor and philanthropist per excellence with an innate drive to impact his people positively driven by service for the betterment of the masses.”

Oyintonyo further noted that the Michael Bless Olomu Foundation set up by her husband in 2014 has impacted over 3,000 lives in the state by supporting persons educationally and health-wise without recourse to political bias, age, location, faith, or status.

She, however, dismissed stories making the rounds on the internet that age, experience, and status count against her husband’s candidature, noting that his pedigree as a former student leader and activist gives him away as the right man for the job.

She added that her husband’s reign if elected will enthrone prosperity to youths, women, and men in the constituency.
