Family releases schedule of activities for 2nd memorial service of George Turnah’s mother

Ahoada—The family of late Deaconess Elizabeth Charles of the Christian Church of God Mission, Edeoha in Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State has released the schedule of activities in commemoration of the 2nd memorial anniversary of her demise.

This was made known in a statement issued on behalf of the family by her first son and the Executive Assistant to the Bayelsa State Governor on Public Affairs and Social Orientation, Evang. George Turnah, MON.

Turnah, a former Special Assistant to Mr. Dan Abia, erstwhile Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), noted that the memorial program will begin with a sing-song sit out at the mausoleum of the late Deaconess in Edeoha Town.

The national choir of the Christian Church of God Mission Nigeria, according to the statement will take charge of the event billed to take place between the hours of 6 pm – 10 pm on Saturday the 16th of July, 2022.

An open-air inter-denominational memorial/thanksgiving service is also scheduled to hold at the Igbu Ishi Egba Play Ground, Edeoha Town on Sunday the 17th of July, 2022 by 9 am.

The statement enjoins members of the Christian Church of God Mission Nigeria, friends and associates of the late Deaconess to join the family in thanksgiving and celebration of God’s goodness, grace and mercy upon the life of the late Deaconess while she lived here on earth.
