Nembe—A former youth leader of the Sabatoru/Obiama Youth Council in Nembe Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, Comr. Ebiri Wilfred Nengi has hailed Governor Douye Diri for the kick-starting the Nembe-Brass road.
Nengi in a statement made available to Mangrovepen.ng on Tuesday thanked Diri for making the road project a reality after many decades of waiting.
According to him, the Bayelsa State government deserves a lot of commendation for the feat, noting that the Nembe-Brass road when completed would spawn a new way of improved living particularly for the people of Brass.
He described the governor as a man who matches words with action and therefore believes that the Bayelsa State government would execute the project as promised.
Nengi who is also a former secretary-general of the Nembe Youth President Forum also thanked the Bayelsa State governor for supporting the functionaries of the National Population Commission (NPC) in their Enumeration Area Demarcation (EAD) updating process in Nembe, Yenagoa, Kolokuma and Southern Ijaw Local Government Areas of the state in April.
He equally expressed gratitude to the governor for his promise to support and facilitate the forthcoming Trial Census in Brass Local Government Area on July 8th, 2022.
