I will consult and get back to you says Sylva as he receives presidential nomination form from group

Abuja—A group, the Good People Of Nigeria, on Monday purchased the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential Expression of Interest and Nomination forms for Chief Timipre Sylva, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources.

The group presented the forms to the minister at the gate of the NNPC Towers, Abuja.

According to a statement by Julius Bokoru, Special Assistant On Media And Public Affairs to Sylva, Mohammed Abaji Abu, spokesman of the group, commended Sylva for his performance as a minister and highlighted the historic passage of the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA).

His words: “The Good People of Nigeria chose Sylva for his record of excellence, sincerity of purpose, work ethics and love for the nation’

“We waited a while for the Honourable Minister to pick the expression of Interest and Nomination forms for the Presidency of our country on the platform of the APC’

“But after waiting for a while we did not see him amongst the lot so we decided to come together and obtain the expression of Interest and Nomination forms For the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for Chief Sylva, the best man to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.”

Responding, Sylva thanked the group for their gesture and promised to give them feedback after proper consultations

“I am touched by this act, it tells that my humble efforts towards project Nigeria are being regarded and appreciated.

“You have all braved the weather and sacrificed your resources and time to invest in a dream you believe, this is an act of patriotism and I thank you all for this, I will consult and get back to you all in due time,” he said.
