Gelegele—A socio-cultural group, the Ijaw Women of America (IWA) on Tuesday 10, February 2021, commissioned a solar-powered borehole water project in Gelegele Gbene Community, Olodiama Kingdom in Ovia North-East Local Area of Edo State.
Mangrovepen.ng gathered that the project is the 10th borehole water project embarked upon by the group.
The project is also part of the first phase of providing clean drinkable water for all Ijaw communities in the Niger Delta.
