Yenagoa—Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State has sacked Chief A. C. T. Wongo as the Paramount ruler of Otuokpoti community in Ogbia Local Government Area, mangrovepen.ng has gathered.
His sack follows the abduction and subsequent release of Hon. Federal Otokito, Commissioner for Trade and investment.
Diri who appointed the Chairman of the Chiefs Council, Chief Rescue Abe, as acting paramount ruler, also ordered the sack of the Community Development Committee (CDC) Chairman, Mr. Azibalua Amon and Youth President Mr. Emolem Igue.
They are to be replaced by Mr. Jerry Offor and Mr. Shadrach Afiemo in acting capacity.
In same vein, the Commissioner of Police in Bayelsa State, Ben Okolo, has declared 4 persons wanted in connection with the abduction.
They are: Joshua Abi, Clergy Okio Mabinton, Azini and Gift Tebeda.
