Nembe—Miss Bebara Souyo has emerged as the newly crowned Face of Nembe-Se in the 2021/2022 edition of the Nembe Se Unity beauty pageant.
The beauty pageant which was held on Monday at King Koko Square in Nembe City of Bayelsa State was contested by thirty young models with Bebara Suoyo emerging winner.
Miss Bebara, 24, is a native of Okpoama in Brass Local Government Area. She is a graduate of Microbiology from the Niger Delta University, Amassoma, Bayelsa State.
Miss Augusta Clement from Okoroma in Nembe Local Government Area emerged as the first runner-up while
Miss Susan Ayebakuro who hails from Akassa in Brass LGA was the second runner-up.
In other categories, Miss Vesta Alagoa from Opu-Nembe beat other contestants to emerge the Miss Culture and Tourism of Nembe Se 2021/2022.
While Miss Christabel Opuene also from Opu-Nembe won the Miss Face of Nembe Se 2021/2022.
The chief executive and organizer of the pageant, Mr. Simeon Korobobo Sounpre, in his comments after the show appreciated the Board of Trustees (BoT) and other stakeholders of the pageant for their efforts in making it a success.
“Thanks to the BoT’s Face of Nembe-Se, Sata Clinton Owugha, Tari Williams, Prince Telimoye Awululu, Tariyemie James, Tari Samuel Rinah and Becky Walter.
“Also I would love to thank the Nembe City Youth Congress Executives, the JTF Commander, Major Abraham Isaiah Osei, Mr. Daniels Opuene, President the Beauty of Africa International Pageant and the entire Face of Nembe-Se Team,” he said.
