Eagles Wing Football Academy to participate in international tournament next year

Warri— Eagles Wing Football Academy has announced that it has been invited to compete in an international kids tournament in the United Kingdom and France respectively in 2022, Mangrovepen.ng has gathered.

The coordinator of the Warri branch of the academy, Victor Isereke, in a statement addressed to parents of kids in the academy, noted that only players in the Uyo, Warri and Abuja branches of the academy are eligible for the tournament.

He stated that the tournament would be in different categories, one to be hosted in Manchester, UK and the other to be played in the Paris St Germain football stadium in Paris, France.

Isereke said the host country will provide accommodation and necessary logistics for the team from their base to the venue of the football games.

He added that parents who want their kids/wards to participate in the tournament must prep them to be consistent and regular in training if they will stand a chance of being selected.

He disclosed that professional football scouts and agents will be on the lookout for raw talents during the tournament.

The Warri branch coordinator of the academy also hinted that the official invitation of the tournament would be made available for the public for verification once the host country’s Football Association (FA) sends it to the management of the academy’s head office in Abuja.
