Eulogy As Daniel Iworiso-Markson Clocks 51

Abuja—Ace media personality and former commissioner of Information in Bayelsa State, Hon. Daniel Iworiso-Markson, has been described as a sterling media consultant, politician and philanthropist as he clocks 51.

This was contained in a felicitation message signed by Mr. Bonnke Timi Bilabou and made available to Mangrovepen.ng on Monday.

Bonnke stated that the former information commissioner has added immense value to many lives and contributed meaningfully to the development of the state as well as the oil-rich Niger Delta region.

The statement reads in part: “Today, I celebrate Hon. Daniel Iworiso-Markson, a renowned media consultant, strategist, politician and philanthropist.

“Hon. Iworiso-Markson is a complete gentleman who has distinguished himself not just in his career as a media personality, but also in his service to Bayelsa State and humanity as a whole.

“His amazing performance as Chief Press Secretary and later Commissioner of information during ex-governor Seriake Dickson’s administration stood him out as one of the best media handlers in our clime.”

Bonnie also prayed God to grant Iworiso-Markson “divine health, more wisdom and peace of mind while expanding his coast.”

The former commissioner was born into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sunday Iworiso of Opume Kingdom in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State on June 14, 1970.

Iworisi-Markson started his career as a journalist with the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Lagos, rising through the ranks to become one of the most sought-after media consultants in the country.
