Down Syndrome Day: Cocodia lauds councillor for medical outreach

Special Adviser to the Governor on political matters, High Chief Collins Cocodia, has urged political office holders to fulfill their promises to the people after being elected into office.

Cocodia made the remarks over the weekend in Amassoma in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State during a medical outreach programme organized by the Councillor representing Amassoma Ward 10, Hon. Loveth Asari.

Cocodia, who was the Chairman of the occasion, was represented by his Chief of Staff, Hon Tari Igolukumo, at the event.

He lauded the councillor for the initiative and urged her to continue to render services to her people.

According to Cocodia, “her name will remain indelible in the hearts of the community.”

The medical outreach was in commemoration of this year’s World Down Syndrome Day, where medicare were given to persons with down syndrome within the community and its environs.
