Opu Wari leader, Prince George, felicitates executives of Ijaw Community Association in Abuja

Prince George of the Royal Obioku Kingdom in Nembe-Basambiri and leader of the group called Opu Wari has congratulated the new executives of Ijaw Community Association in Abuja on their recent inauguration.

The new executives include: Chairman, Prince Ogolo Somiari; Vice Chairman, Ojokurowei Ebiere Blessing; Secretary, Ebilo Rawlings Ezetu; Assistant Secretary, Binigbolo Longlife Enoibotei; Director of Media & Publicity, Afonyaa Ayibatonye O.

Others are Director of Welfare, Sunday Macaulay; Legal Adviser, Gift Opeyeoluwa Kieribo; Director of Mobilization, Asawo-Fia Tamunomiebi; Auditor, Lauretta Dauphin and Women Leader, Ebikebina Egbonkumor.

In a statement issued on Wednesday and made available to newsmen, Prince George affirmed that the new executives of the body are people of integrity.

In his words: “The New Executives of the IJAW Community Association in Abuja have been conducting themselves well since living in Abuja.

“They have also been a part a parcel of the Ijaw Struggle, particularly pursuing the interest of Ijaw sons and daughters here in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).”

George therefore expressed confidence that they will deliver on the mandate given to them via the ballot.

He however urged the new executives to continue conducting themselves seamlessly and make good use of their exalted positions in the interest of all Ijaw residents in Abuja.

“I equally admonish them to see their elevation as a call to serve the Ijaw Nation, make a lasting impact, and write their names in the annals of history.”

He further assured that Opu Warri which he leads will support them to achieve their objectives.

“Once again, I congratulate and wish them success in their new journey of leadership and patriotic service to Ijaw Nation” he added.
