Brass—The paramount ruler of Sambo-Ama in Twon Brass Kingdom of Bayelsa State, HRH Samuel Sambo has described the late Senator Inatimi Rufus-Spiff as a refined gentleman, extraordinary politician, and patriot of Twon Brass Kingdom.
He said Rufus-Spiff contributed meaningfully to his people and mankind in his lifetime.
According to a statement by the personal aide to Sambo, Comr. Temple Sambo Jnr., the paramount ruler made the remarks when he led chiefs of Sambo-Ama to pay a condolence visit to the younger brother of the deceased, HRH Beinmonyo Rufus-Spiff who is also the Amadabo of Cameron-Ama in Twon Brass on Thursday.
The monarch further stated that Inatimi’s demise remains a huge loss to his immediate family, the entire Twon Brass Kingdom and Bayelsa State which he served meritoriously.
He admonished the Amadabo of Cameron-Ama to be strong and see his brother’s departure as a call to eternal rest and glory after living an impactful life on earth.
He assured that the people of Sambo-Ama will stand shoulder to shoulder with the Rufus-Spiff family to ensure the late senator gets a befitting funeral as custom demands.
Senator Inatimi Rufus-spiff who passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, 24th December 2022 at his residence in Abuja served as a senator representing Bayelsa East senatorial District in the National Assembly from 2003 to 2007.
