Abuja—The management of GbaramatuVoice newspaper has urged the Federal Government to engage operators of modular refineries in the Niger Delta region as available data shows that most of the refined products from artisanal refineries are of a higher premium than the touted NNPC graded distillations.
This was contained in a communique issued at the end of its 7th-anniversary lecture held on Tuesday, at Sheraton Hotel, Abuja and signed by Prof. Tosan Harriman, Chairman, GbaramatuVoice Editorial Board, Jerome-Mario Utomi, Head, Communiqué Drafting Committee and Jacob Abai, Publisher/CEO, GbaramatuVoice newspaper.
The management outlined plans to launch a radio and television station that will broadcast its contents in all local dialects known to the Niger Delta region and promote the rich cultural heritage of the people of the region.

They also revealed moves to build a Media Skill Training Institute where fresh graduates from the region interested in media practice shall be trained on different media skills for self-reliance.
The newspaper called on “well-meaning sons and daughters of the Niger Delta extraction, interested Nigerians, partners and the global community to assist GbaramatuVoice to realize this laudable objective.”
