Bayelsa women group commiserates with Igali over mother’s death

Yenagoa—A non-governmental organization, Bayelsa Impactful Amazons, has commiserated with the family of Ambassador Godknows Igali over the demise of his mother, Mama Patricia Fani Newton Igali nee Yogo.

In a statement issued by its spokesperson, Hon. Helen Bob, the group pointed out that the deceased was an industrious, kind and loving mother, not only to her children and family but also to her immediate community and humanity.

According to the group, “Mama Igali was a foremost female professional caterer, community leader and educationist in Izon and the Niger Delta, who touched many lives through her callings.”

“The Octogenarian was a disciplinarian who imparted the virtues of hard work and selflessness in her children and many others.”

The Bayelsa Impact Amazons, also noted that Mama Igali has left indelible legacies, adding that her son, Amb. Godknows Igali, is a gift to Bayelsa State, Niger Delta and Nigeria, given the professional and leadership services he has been rendering over the years.

The women group emphasized that “her selfless and professional services to organisations she worked for, as well as humanity, will continue to remain as worthy footprints.”

They prayed to God to grant Amb. Godknows Igali and the entire Igali family the fortitude to bear the loss.
