Brass—His Royal Majesty, King Alfred Diete-Spiff, Amanayanbo of Twon-Brass Kingdom in Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, has been appointed and inaugurated as the special royal envoy to AFRIDU and Chairman of the African Diaspora Traditional Rulers Council.
King Diete-Spiff who delivered a passionate speech after his inauguration among several Heads of State, Governments, representatives of the African Union, the West Indies, Caribbean, Latin America, South America, and representatives from the African diaspora all over the world is the first Nigerian to be appointed.

Mangrovepen.ng gathered that Diete-Spiff’s appointment will bring a dramatic turn to Bayelsa state and Nigeria, especially in the areas of African diaspora direct investment through the Africa Diaspora development investment fund.
It will also attract the African diaspora Public Private Partnership Projects (PPPP) and also promote academic exchange and scholarship for Africans.
Meanwhile, His Highness, Chief Golden Ebiye William-Sinteh, Secretary, Twon- Brass Kingdom Amanyanabo-In-Council, has on behalf of the royal highnesses, chiefs, elders, women and youths of the kingdom congratulated King Diete-Spiff on his appointment.
In a statement sent to mangrovepen.ng, he described the monarch as a square peg in a square hole who has always brought great honour not only to the Kingdom but to the entire Ijaw Nation, Niger Delta and Nigeria at large.
“As subjects of His Eminence, we are delighted and proud of this elevation upon our great King and we pray for God to grant him the needed strength and wisdom to discharge his duties diligently as he is known for,” he stated.
